Birthday Tree Table

I think this is my favorite piece so far, just for the story... My customer's parents were given a paper birch tree to celebrate his birth. As he grew, so did the tree. Eventually the tree came to the end of it's life and was taken down, but before it found it's way to the firewood pile we were able to mill it into boards and build this stunning farmhouse style table that his young family can now grow up around!

White birch with "gunstock" stain, finished in a satin conversion varnish.
